A 50-year old shoplifter who allegedly threatened to kill the security guard who challenged him, will have to return to court in March to learn his fate.

Accepting it was early days in the investigation, Judge Desmond Zaidan told defending barrister Donnacha Craddock that his client would be remanded on continuing bail for now until his next appearance on 19 March for directions from the DPP.
