Athgarvan store hosts family day
MACE Athgarvan
LOCAL store MACE Athgarvan, which opened in September 2025, is celebrating the launch of its brand-new MACE store with a community family fun day on Friday 31 July.
The store is the third MACE location for the Lynch family, who also operate MACE Old Leighlin in Carlow and MACE Freshford in Kilkenny.
Designed to serve the local community, the store features a hot food deli, Bewley’s coffee, a full off-licence, freshly baked breads and cakes from Lynch’s Bakery, and the MACE Right Options range.
The celebration will take place from 2pm to 5pm and promises plenty of entertainment for all ages, including a Reptile Zoo, music, kids’ entertainment, food tastings, a BBQ and a spin-the-wheel raffle throughout the day.
Store owner Paul Lynch said: “MACE Athgarvan is focused on delivering strong value, fresh food and friendly service for our customers.
"We are proud to bring a convenient, high-quality offering to the area and would like to thank the local community for their continued support. We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone to our celebration on July 31st.”

MACE Athgarvan is open from 6.30am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, and from 7.30am to 10pm on Sunday.
