Free dance shows at Whitewater Shopping Centre on Saturday

OutWall takes place this week
NEWBRIDGE'S Riverbank Arts Centre is presenting two free family shows at Whitewater Shopping Centre this Saturday 5 July at 12pm and 2pm.
OutWall by Selma Daniel Dance will be performed by two professional dancers, Mia DiChiaro and Cristian Emanuel Dirocie, alongside local young people aged 13-18 years old.
OutWall is a dance performance that explores how buildings, movement, and invisible barriers affect us. It looks at the many kinds of walls we live with - some we can see, like physical walls, and others we can't, like political, social, or emotional barriers. These walls can keep us safe, but they also separate us. Even today, they still stand between us.
With metaphoric and literal walls Selma invites the community to celebrate the details of local architecture that can pass unseeing, using dance, original music and engaging with young people from the local community.
OutWall is free to attend, no tickets needed! Make sure to drop by Whitewater Shopping Centre on to enjoy this vibrant and energetic performance! More information about OutWall is available on riverbank.ie
