Kildare students win Texaco Art Competition awards

Two Kildare students, 14-year-old Lily Seery from St Wolstan’s Community School, Celbridge and 16-year-old Joseph Finn from Salesian College, Celbridge, win the 2025 Texaco Children’s Art Competition Calendar.

Among the 13 entries selected, Lily’s artwork Generations will appear in the 2025 calendar in the month of March and Joseph’s A Good Day’s Fishing will appear in August.

Both Special Merit Award winners in this year’s 70th competition, their artworks were commended by the adjudication panel as “demonstrating high levels of skill and imagination”. The calendars are currently available in a select number of Texaco service stations and through Texiol, Valero’s own home heating oil division.
