Naas Musical Society to stage annual fundraiser
GET ready to relive the soundtrack of a golden era as Naas Musical Society proudly presents 'Sounds of the 70s – A Musical Journey', taking to the stage of the Moat Theatre, Naas from Tuesday 3 November to Thursday 5 November 2026, with performances each evening at 8pm.
This annual fundraising concert promises an unforgettable celebration of one of music's greatest decades, featuring iconic hits, spectacular choreography and outstanding live performances from the talented members of Naas Musical Society.
Directed by Claire O'Reilly, Sean O'Keeffe and David Kirk, the production brings together a dedicated creative team, with Tom Joyce as Musical Director and Chloe Connolly joining the team as choreographer.
Audiences can look forward to a fantastic line-up of timeless classics including by Elton John, by Elvis Presley, the ever-popular , a thrilling James Bond tribute, an energetic ABBA medley and many more unforgettable favourites that are guaranteed to have audiences singing along and dancing in their seats.
The concert is Naas Musical Society's annual fundraiser, with all proceeds supporting its highly anticipated 2027 musical, , which will be staged at the Moat Theatre from 6–12 March 2027.

Rehearsals for 'Sounds of the 70s' begin on Monday 31 August in the Town House Hotel, making it the perfect opportunity for new members to join. Everyone is welcome, and no previous experience is necessary.
