Athy pauses to honour military dead

Athy remembered the men and the one woman Eleanor Orford from Athy who died in the Great War and those who gave their lives in past wars and on UN duty at the war memorial in old St Michaels graveyard last weekend. Athy mayor Aoife Breslin placed a wreath on behalf of the people of the town in memory of those who died.
