Break The Chain charity cycle

Come out and support an important fundraiser in Suncroft on 10 August in aid of local mental health community fund. The Break the Chain is a 30.5kms cycle run, starting and finishing at Suncroft National School. Starting at 10.30am, registration is €35. Medics and bike mechanics will be on hand to provide assistance and cyclists are reminded that helmets must be worn by all participants. The cycle will be followed by a fundraising event in The Croft Inn at 8pm with music, food and a raffle. You may also buy a memorial brick for a loved one, which will be showcased in the local community centre for 12 months.

GAA pitch walking path

The GAA pitch walking path is complete with easy access from the centre and the car park. Thank you to everyone who helped and to Colm Kane and Greenstone Development for their work. Special thanks to Healthy Ireland, who funded over 60% of the cost of the track via the walking tracks grant funding. It is a great addition to the facilities and will come into its own in wet weather and the winter months.

The club is still fundraising to cover the balance of the cost and any support would be appreciated.

Suncroft GFC Lotto

Lotto numbers drawn on 14 July were 7, 12, 16 and 25 and there was no winner of the €10,000 jackpot.
