THE CONGREGRATION at Solas Bhríde, Kildare came together in a Pause for Peace to celebrate St Brigid Day. A tradition begun by Into Kildare and Solas Bhríde a few years ago. Into Kildare attended this beautiful ceremony, which was followed by the Peace Pole planting on the grounds.

The Peace Pole was inspired by St Brigid, known as a great peacemaker — “a woman who turns back the streams of war” — the Peace Pole stands as a silent prayer and an international symbol of hope, carrying the message: May Peace Prevail on Earth.
