Young performers shine at Kildare stage summer school

THE Sallins Scouts Den was filled with laughter, music and applause as Deirdre Browne's Summer School came to a fantastic close with a showcase inspired by Matilda the Musical.

Throughout the week, children enjoyed singing, dancing and acting while making new friends and growing in confidence. 

Led by Deirdre Browne, the programme featured expert tuition from singing teacher Dearbhail Downey and drama teacher Sharon Osborne.

Family and friends were treated to a lively performance showcasing everything the children had learned, with songs and scenes from Matilda delighting the audience.

The week was a wonderful celebration of creativity, teamwork and fun, giving every child the opportunity to develop their talents, make lasting friendships and experience the joy of performing.
