Kildare will be well represented on the Leinster U18 girls team when they take on Munster tomorrow (Saturday, August 8th) in the opening round of this season’s inter-provincial series.

The game will be played at 5.30pm in Virgin Media Park, Cork, following the conclusion of the Leinster/Munster senior clash in the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship at the same venue.

Leinster will be captained by Cill Dara lock, Emily Miller, who is one of three Kildare players in the starting XV, with another four players from the county named among the replacements. 

Miller is joined in the pack by Cill Dara clubmate, Lucy Noons, who starts at tighthead prop, while Naas's Lily Harney starts on the wing. 

The four players on the bench include Athy pair Kate Lawlor and Catherine Murphy plus MU Barnhall pair Niamh Pollard and Siofra McGlynn.

Leinster are looking for a third title in a row after going unbeaten in back-to-back seasons.
