Kildare's Sarah Delaney to captain Leinster for the first time

Head Coach, Sana Govender, has named his squad to take on Munster in the opening round of the 2026 Vodafone Interprovincial Championship tomorrow, Saturday 8 August, at Virgin Media Park in Cork.
Kick-off is at 2.30pm, with the game being broadcast live on the Spórt TG4 YouTube channel.
There are a total of ten Kildare players in the match-day 23, including captain Sarah Delaney of PortDara Falcons and Blackrock College.
Delaney is joined in the pack by four other Kildare players, including Naas duo Ruth Campbell (Old Belvedere) and Kate Jordan (Blackrock College), who make up the Leinster second row.
The other three Kildare players in the starting XV are all making their debut, including Castledermot's Roisín Kinch (Tullow RFC) and Naas's Erin King (Old Belvedere), both of whom are in the back row, as well as Eve Higgins of MU Barnhall and Railway Union,
There are another four Kildare women on the bench, including Hannah Wilson (Cill Dara/Old Belvedere), Aoife Corcoran (Coolmine/MU Barnhall), Emma Tilly (MU Barnhall/Old Belvedere) and another debutant, Emma Jane Wilson (PortDara Falcons).
