Manager Des Balmer began making in changes in the sixtieth minute when he brought on Chris Idah for his under 20 debut.

In the last-minute Knutek almost got his second but his firm header on goal was tipped onto the crossed by Darragh Foley tipped onto the crossbar and the ball was subsequently cleared.
Klub Kildare now have two games remaining and three points would probably sufficient to see them through to the Shield Semi-final.
