A substantial 130-acre farm at Brackna near Athy, has been placed on the market through a public tender process with a guide price of €1,750,000.
The holding, extending to approximately 52.6 hectares, is being offered for sale by Jordan Auctioneers as part of an executor sale. The property is located around 8km south of Athy and 7km north of Stradbally.
According to the selling agents, the lands comprise approximately 100 acres of tillage ground, 21 acres in grass and nine acres of woodland. The farm is described as a high-quality block of agricultural land suitable for a range of uses, including tillage, livestock and equestrian enterprises.
The agents state that part of the holding, extending to around 102 acres, is currently leased and has five years remaining on the agreement. The sale notice also highlights the potential for a residence and farmyard to be developed on the lands, subject to planning permission.
