Book sale for Kildare animal charity this week
Foster families for kittens are needed now
IT'S time once again to stock up on your reading material as the KWWSPCA's very popular book sale will take place again this Friday 24 April (11am – 5pm) and Saturday 25 April (11am – 4pm) in Kilcullen Town Hall (Eircode R56 X763).
A wide range of books will be on sale; fiction, non-fiction and children's books, most for €1 each or 6 books for €5. Lisa, our very talented artist, will be there on Saturday doing her Pet Pawtraits - just bring along a photo of your cat or dog (or any other pet) and she will do a cartoon portrait for you, for a small fee, while you are looking at the books.

Foster families for kittens are needed now. It is not all cuteness and chocolate box pictures though as there is quite a considerable amount of work involved. If you can think past this work, then the rewards are fabulous!
We are looking for families to foster a friendly mother cat and her kittens until they are ready for homing or to foster some orphaned kittens whose mother has gone.
Some babies may need bottle feeding and some just need food love and warmth. Please text ‘Foster Family’ to 089/4588162 and you will get a callback when all your questions can be answered.
It is best to have your own transport and live within a 30-mile radius of Newbridge. We are running very low on our stocks of wet dog food - tinned or in sachets - for our rescue dogs.
If anyone would like to donate some to us, it can be left at the gates of our Shelter (Eircode W12 EV60) or at our Charity Shop, Noah's Ark, in Cutlery Road, Newbridge, 10.00 - 5.00 Mondays to Saturdays. Many thanks in advance.
Any brand is acceptable. Not forgetting the felines, we are always grateful for donations of any cat food which is used for those in our care and always for feral colonies.
