Council apply for compulsory purchase order on Kildare property
The former pub is located in St. Patrick's Street, Castlerea.
Kildare County Council intend to acquire a property in Rathangan by compulsory purchase order.
The council have applied to an Bord Pleanála to obtain a property and lands, .29 of an acre in size, at Millbrook, Rathangan.
The owners, occupiers and lessors were unknown according to the council.
The application for the compulsory purchase order is due to be decided by 1 September next.
