Council extend time on planning for 50 Athy homes

A housing developer in Athy has been successful in extending time on a planning permission for 50 homes.
Kildare-based Cosmo Developments plan to build apartments, duplex homes, town houses, detached and semi-detached properties at Clonmullen & Gallowshill, Geraldine Road, Athy.
This would be the third phase of a building development in this location.
This development will see a new access road onto Geraldine Road.
The council noted that current works ongoing on the site and it was appropriate to extend time.
The developer is also seeking to extend time on phase two at the development, which involves around 80 houses. A decision is due on that proposal in the next month.
