A MAN who has previously served a three-year jail sentence for raping his wife was brought back to Naas District Court for the breach of a protection order against him.

The defendant pleaded guilty to defrauding a Galway woman in her 80s by dishonestly inducing her to buy a mini-digger for over €7,000.

In a shocking invasion of her privacy, the student was filmed using the toilet and showering, as well as undressing and dressing
