Kildare gardaí seize BMW for no insurance

NAAS Roads Policing Unit recently stopped a vehicle in Naas during a patrol where it was revealed that the driver of a BMW had no insurance.

The car was then swiftly seized by Gardaí who plainly wrote in an online statement: “No insurance = no car.” 

A Garda spokesperson said: “It was seized on the spot.” 

 “The driver not faces a court date, a hefty fine, and possibly losing their licence,” they continued.

They closed off the statement with: “Insurance is not optional – it’s the law.”
