Kildare player scoops €500,000 EuroMillions prize

A lucky Kildare player got their weekend off to the best start with a €500,000 EuroMillions win.
The player won the hefty sum on Friday night’s draw, and the winning numbers were 10, 34, 37, 38 and 43.
The player, who may not know they have won, purchased their Quick Pick on the day of the draw online.
Another Plus player in Co. Limerick also scooped €500,000 in the draw.
Emma Monaghan, National Lottery spokesperson, said: “Huge congratulations to our EuroMillions Plus winners in Co. Limerick and Co. Kildare, who have each won €500,000 – a fantastic start to their weekends!
“While there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot worth €232,174,804, in total, over 70,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.” The National Lottery is urging all players in the Limerick area to check their tickets carefully, while an email notification has been sent to the online Kildare player.
