Kildare shop wins overall prize at national awards

A MONASTEREVIN shop, SPAR Junction 14 Mayfield, was named Convenience Store of the Year at the 25th annual ShelfLife C-Store Awards, being named National Convenience Store of the Year (Overall Winner) and also taking home the title of Forecourt Retailer of the Year.

These awards, regarded as the most prestigious in Ireland’s convenience retail sector, were presented at a gala event in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dún Laoghaire, attended by over 380 industry leaders.

Owned and operated by Liam and Donal Fitzpatrick, SPAR Junction 14 was a trailblazer when it opened in 2011, introducing an innovative mix of shopping and dining facilities for transient customers.
