Kildare woman wins Best Dressed title at Punchestown on Thursday

Bollinger Best Dressed winner Maria Osbourne on the day three of the Punchestown Festival
Kildare woman Maria Osbourne took the honours of day three of the Punchestown Festival winning the Bollinger Best dressed title.
Elegant Maria wore a mellow yellow two-piece Aoife McNamara suit that she recently purchased at the Kildare Village Easter pop up shop.
Her hat a Marc Millinery rental from Hats Amore in Newbridge was teamed with an old Zara bag she had at home, Chanel sunglasses borrowed from her sister and preloved Jimmy Choos that she purchased on Vinted.
Maria was thrilled with her win, commenting her husband had affectionately teased her earlier in the day saying she was like “a grey mare dressed as a Spring chick”.

Maria was a guest at a table in the Punchestown Pavilion and due to a major work deadline, she wasn’t even sure she’d make it to the races today!
The Head of the Bollinger Style Council, Jess Colivet commented: “The style and colour was amazing today, they really followed the brief, something old something new and the decision was very tough, it really came down to the finishing touches like shoes and jewellery.”
Maria will join previous daily winners; Genieve Ryan and Oniesa Owens fast track through to tomorrow’s grand finale when the overall winner of the 2025 Bollinger Best Dressed Competition will be announced.
The winner and a guest win a 'money can't buy' trip of a lifetime to the home of Bollinger. This is not a cliche, you literally cannot buy this prize as it is invitation only. Flights to Paris, 5* Hotel, Michelin Star dining, private chauffeur, Exclusive Champagne Bollinger experiencе including private tour of the cellars, vineyards, gardens, house and overnight stay in the beautiful capital of the champagne region Reims. They will also enjoy a year’s supply of Bollinger.

The crowds continued to flock back to the Kildare venue on Thursday, with attendance figures up year on year for the third day in succession.
20,228 attended today compared to last year’s festival Thursday total of 18,289 putting them well ahead going into what are typically their busiest days of the festival. Tomorrow is Ladies Day, Saturday is Family Day and given that it’s a long weekend all the indications are extremely positive for the team at Punchestown.
