ONE of Kildare’s most prominent accountancy practises is set for significant expansion with the announcement that it has merged with another large firm in Leinster.

Naas based Eilis Quinlan & Co has joined with AVID Partners, a leading accountancy and business consultancy management firm with offices across Laois and Dublin.

The move will be a transformative step for both firms and is expected to significantly enhance services offered to clients across Kildare and the wider Leinster region.

Established 33 years ago, Quinlan & Co specialises in Audit, Tax Planning, Insolvency and Corporate Recovery and Principal, Eilis Quinlan, said the decision to align with AVID Partners, led by its Managing Director, Jamie O’Hanlon, is a “strategic one to further build and expand the practise”.

“From the outset I sought to ensure that my practise was an innovative one that evolved and adapted to the changing demands of the industry.”

“This merger is another strategic move in that process and one that can only serve to enhance the service we provide to our very valued clients, many of whom have been with us for decades”.

“AVID Partners has a depth of knowledge and experience around Corporate Finance, Succession and Business Development which marries well with our specialist expertise in Tax Planning, Insolvency and Corporate Recovery”.

“These unique but complimentary skills and competence will greatly enhance our service delivery to our clients across Kildare, Dublin and Laois and the wider Leinster region. I am a Chartered Director, so I have specialist and expert knowledge around the very strict standards expected of Company Boards which is crucial in ensuring they maintain strict Corporate Governance standards.

As part of the new structure, Eilis Quinlan will take on the role of Director of Strategic Partnership in the newly merged entity. In addition, two senior team members from the Naas office have been promoted to directorships: Amanda McGrath will serve as Director of Auditing and Compliance, and Patrick Tracey becomes Director of Accounting & Taxation.

“These appointments serve to copper fasten the continued involvement and importance of Eilis Quinlan & Co in the newly merged practice,” said Quinlan.

“This is a major move for us and will inevitably lead to more growth and further emphasis on developing additional services for our clients to ensure continuing standards of excellence. Accountancy is a varied, valuable and hugely vibrant profession and one where innovation meets solid professional expertise and experience”.
