Sunday is the final Flat fixture at Naas in 2026, and we’ve got a high quality eight-race card to make the most of today, with two Listed races and a premier handicap on the card.

Read on for a preview of and tips for the Naas card, brought to you by BOYLE Sports, who have all the horse racing betting.

The opener is a six-furlong maiden for two-year-old fillies (13.20). There are plenty of unraced horses making their debuts here, therefore there’s plenty of uncertainty, but Adrian Sexton’s Katty brings the best form, having placed last time out at the Curragh. Fly Smartly has shown ability too, but newcomer Chicago Blues makes a bit of appeal due to her nice pedigree.

Next is a juvenile colts and geldings’ maiden over the same trip (13.56). Bengal Tiger brings the best form, having placed second of 12 last time over course and distance, and his stablemate Major Triumph makes his debut. Scolyer was an expensive purchase and might be worth thinking about if the market suggests that he is being supported.

Race three is a two-year-olds’ seven-furlong Auction Series Final (14.30). Seven Nation Army can handle the softer ground and has a chance from the inside draw, while Banks Of The Boyne could prove to be better on this surface, and the fact that Colin Keane takes the ride is noteworthy. He could be in line for a place.

The first of our Listed races follows; the mile Garnet Stakes for fillies and mares (15.05). Faiyum has been a little disappointing of late, but this truly soft ground might make the difference for her and she can be considered. Qualixia and Queen’s Reign could enter calculations, as could the improving Blue Blue Moon, who took a step forward at the Curragh last time. The beautifully bred Drop Dead Gorgeous has been underwhelming so far, but will be interesting if she takes to the ground.

Next is the second Listed race; the mile and a half Bluebell Stakes, again for fillies and mares (15.40). Beset won on testing ground at Galway last time over this trip and must have another chance, while In My Teens is the top-rated. She might be suited by the ground this time, having been a little beneath her form from last year. Caught U Sleeping cannot be overlooked, though, after a good run last time in a Listed race.

The sixth race is a two-mile premier handicap (16.15). Comfort Zone could be in with a chance, having slipped down the weights, while Counting Coup looks competitive on today’s mark too. Galileo Dame is high in the handicap for herself, but was so good last time at the Curragh that she must enter calculations. Abbotsford, though, makes his handicap debut and hasn’t been overraced this year, so could be a dark horse.

Second to last is a 10-furlong apprentice handicap (16.50). Espritroyale is competitive at this mark and could have a nice chance for Gavin Cromwell here, while Jp’s Express could get into the mix as well. Vlhova comes into her own on tough ground and her mark looks very attractive.

Finally, the concluding race of Naas’ Flat season is a 10-furlong fillies’ handicap (17.25). Apercu is a course and distance winner who can perform on this surface, so she is interesting under a five-pound claimer, while Morgana Blue could receive some attention on handicap debut after her good French form on soft ground.
