Over 130 homes proposed for Athy

A HOUSING developer has applied to build 136 new homes in a large development off the Geraldine Road in Athy.

This will be the second and third phase of building at this location.

Kildare based Cosmo Developments plans to build apartments, duplex homes, town houses, detached and semi-detached properties on around 1.6 hectares of land (four acres) which is zoned ‘C’ – new residential.

The last phase for this development was given the green light as recently as January.

This development will see a new access road onto Geraldine Road, situated between Clonmullion and Gallowshill, A decision is expected before the end of June.
