Proposed mixed-use development for Naas

A PLANNING application has been lodged seeking permission to change the use of a premises on South Main Street, Naas from its current status as a financial institution to a mixed-use development, including an office unit and four residential units.
The application, submitted by applicant Pat Barrett, proposes the conversion of the ground floor into an office unit measuring approximately 235 square metres, while the first and second floors would accommodate four apartments – comprising three two-bedroom units and one one-bedroom unit.
The development, which is located at 24-25 South Main Street, Naas would also include associated site works such as the provision of communal open space, as well as bin and bicycle storage facilities.
The application is currently at a pre-validation stage.
