Search continues in Kildare along the Barrow
The Civil Defence and Kildare fire service are among the first responders at the scene
Emergency services have resumed search efforts on Monday following a report that an individual entered the River Barrow in Athy on Sunday morning.
Gardaí along with Kildare fire service and the Civil Defence carried out a search of the Barrow yesterday. The garda helicopter was also seen above the town.
It follows a report than an individual entered the water shortly after 11am on Sunday.
