Kildare Minister James Lawless TD delivered the opening address to welcome the Small Firms Association Business Connects Conference in Killashee Hotel in Naas last week.

Minister Lawless said: “The Business Connect Conference is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to learn, collaborate, and thrive. I was delighted to have the opportunity to open the event here in Kildare and deliver a speech to welcome the business community which consisted predominantly of small business from right across the country.”

Minister Lawless added: “It was fantastic also to see and acknowledge all the finalists in the Small Firms Association National Small Business Awards who are exhibiting at the conference along with the awards sponsors and partners. The category winners and overall winner will be announced at a Gala Ceremony in the RDS on 26 March next and I would like to wish them all the very best.

“This is the sixth Business Connect event bringing SFA members together with leading medium and large companies across a wide range of industries to learn how big and small business can work together to achieve success for both.”
