Summer luncheon for Kildare charity

GUESTS gathered in glamorous style at The K Club for the third annual Barretstown Summer Luncheon, a celebration of fashion, racing, and philanthropy in support of Barretstown, the charity founded by actor Paul Newman that provides life-changing therapeutic camps and programmes for children affected by serious illness.
This year’s luncheon, proudly sponsored by Ballymore, welcomed guests to a Roku Gin reception, followed by a three-course summer menu with wine sponsored by Traces Wine, in the luxurious surroundings of The K Club.
The afternoon was hosted by Arthur Gourounlian, with racing insights from a lively panel led by Lorna Fowler, joined by Eimear Mulhern, Patrick Mullins, and Johnny Murtagh.
Entertainment was woven throughout the day from violinist Aoife Kelly and singer Cole Page to the uplifting HarMammies , choir and post-lunch set by Sax & Trax with Derek O’Connor.
Guests also took part in a silent auction and raffle, featuring exclusive prizes including art pieces, luxury experiences, and designer fashion, all generously donated by supporters.
