Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office (LEO) is inviting 20 Kildare-based food and beverage producers to join them at Taste of Kildare.

The 2024 Taste of Kildare Festival is taking place over three days from Friday, 20 September, to Sunday 22 September at Naas Racecourse.

The 2024 festival will bring together a fresh blend of dining experiences, markets, mixology, produce, producers, heritage, storytelling and entertainment – a foodie’s heaven.

The LEO is offering a limited number of food and beverage producers the opportunity to take part in the trade area at Taste of Kildare.

In 2018, the inaugural Taste of Kildare Festival at The K Club attracted over 3,500 visitors.

Following that, the next Taste was the 2022 Festival held in The Curragh Racecourse, during the Autumn racing festival, with a combined attendance of over 15,000 visitors.

Previous years have seen everything from artisan bakers to craft brewers. This year’s event will feature a dynamic lineup of activities, including live cooking demonstrations, tastings, workshops, and entertainment.

"Taste of Kildare is an unparalleled opportunity for food businesses to connect with a wide audience of food enthusiasts and local residents,” said Jacqui McNabb, Head of Enterprise, Tourism and Economic Development, Kildare County Council.

“Our clients will gain exposure to thousands of attendees and media coverage, they will connect with new partners and customers, and we will continue to work together to promote Kildare as a top food destination.” The cost of stands are €150 per business for the three-day event, which are highly subsidised by the LEO.

Led by Into Kildare, the highly anticipated Taste of Kildare is promising an even more spectacular culinary celebration.

Applications can be made online via https://submit.link/2EU and the closing date is 26 July.
