Three-vehicle collision near Prosperous this morning

GARDAÍ and emergency services were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision in Prosperous, Co. Kildare, early this morning, Tuesday, October 14, following a road traffic accident involving three vehicles.

The crash occurred at approximately 7.30am at Healy’s Bridge between Prosperous and Robertstown, and prompted a swift response from local emergency services..

Gardaí confirmed that no injuries were reported at the time of the crash. However, there have been eyewitness accounts that report one of the vehicles were overturned in a ditch on the road.

Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as Gardaí worked to clear the vehicles and carry out an initial assessment.

Investigations into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
