ATHY Tennis Club held its first senior doubles open weekend which ran from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 August.
There were over 130 entries from clubs such as Carlow, Naas, Abbeyleix, Kilkenny, Kilcullen, Castlepollard, and Tullow as well as local Athy players.
There were competitions for men's doubles, ladies doubles and mixed doubles at various levels. The games were played in a very competitive but sporting manner.
All of this in glorious sunshine made for a very enjoyable event!
