The Ambassadors were hosted by MEP Maria Walsh, who engaged with the Ambassadors to discuss the issues affecting young people in Ireland today.

Killian Burke said: "Travelling to Brussels as part of the Gaisce Youth Ambassador Panel was nothing short of unforgettable—it was exciting, empowering, and genuinely life-changing.

“It wasn’t just a trip—it was a turning point in my life”.

The ambassadors were hosted by MEP Maria Walsh, who engaged with the ambassadors to discuss the issues affecting young people in Ireland today.

The ambassadors also had a unique opportunity to receive career advice from Michael Scanlon from the VISSEM Centre, Deirdre O'Hea, formerly the head of cabinet to Mairead McGuinness and currently with the European Parliament's internal bureau, and Niall Thompson, the head of support in the Parliament's IT Department.
