Urine vandal brought down by Newbridge pub

The TikTok account was taken down hours after the Judge Roy Beans posted that he should expect a visit from the gardaí
A RATHER disgusting TikTok campaign in which the protagonist filmed himself urinating into bins and wrecking restrooms was nipped in the bud when the management of a Newbridge pub confronted the man when he uploaded a video in their premises.
The TikTok account appeared to have been taken down sometime on Tuesday or Wednesday night following his outing by the management of Judge Roy Beans.
The account had a host of disgusting videos which generally followed the same format where the video taker would urinate all over the floor and toilet of various bathrooms and cubicles, including sinks.
The culprit would further vandalise the toilets by knocking off toilet roll dispensers from the wall, and the account had several thousand followers with some of its videos having racked up over 100,000 views.
“I did,” said manager Vivian Carroll, when asked if he got an apology for the act.
“He was very remorseful about it, and has learned his lesson the hard way,” said Vivian.
“I’ve had a fair few people asking me about him, but we’ve chosen not to pursue it after the apology,” he added.
He did admit that the man was not from Kildare, and was aged in his mid-20s.
Mr Carroll was aware of “a litany of places” that the miscreant visited previously, but it stopped after he posted footage of the behaviour in his own establishment.
The pub had warned that TikTok user to expect the gardaí after he was caught on CCTV.
The culprit’s swift apology to the Kildare pub was posted on social media where he said: ‘My actions were completely unacceptable and disrespectful and I deeply regret any disruption, discomfort, or inconvenience I may have caused to your staff and other patrons.
'I take full responsibility for my conduct and understand that it was inappropriate and disrespectful.
'I have the utmost respect for your establishment and the hard work of your team, and I am truly sorry for not showing that in my actions.
'Please know this was not a reflection of who I strive to be, an I am committed to ensuring that this does not happen again.’
The man was also ordered by the pub to pay for the damage and also make a donation of €500 to the Newbridge Day Care.
