Athy ‘pulls together’ for Patrick’s Day preparations

Preparations for Athy’s annual St Patrick's parade are underway with the theme for this year’s event announced early this week by Athy Town Promoters.

The theme chosen is ‘Pulling Together’, giving great opportunity for community members across the board to get involved and display community spirit.

After the huge success at last year’s parade, Athy Town Promoters are expecting this year’s celebrations to be electric, with a broad theme that is open to interpretation, allowing more room for creative float ideas that everyone can get involved in.

Athy residents can expect appearances from grand marshalls, exciting floats, quality entertainment, and hopefully some good weather too.
