Back to school for veteran Kildare councillor

A VETERAN Naas councillor went back to college for an inaugural course at Maynooth University on spatial planning.
Independent councillor Cllr Seamie Moore received an overall distinction award in the court that involved studies and assignments to evaluate a range of planning factors including politics, environment, the role of a public representative, climate change, transport, housing and urban development.
The course was oversubscribed, and cllr Moore represented Kildare County Council.
Cllr Moore said he was now looking forward to using that extra knowledge on behalf of the community.
