Suncroft National School get green light to revamp including soft play area for children with special needs

Suncroft NS (SN Bride) has been approved for refurbishment works, including a new special educational needs space, a soft-play area and the relocation of a staff room.

Local Fianna Fáil senator and education spokesperson senator Fiona O’Loughlin has welcomed approval for the refurbishment works at Suncroft NS.

Ms O’Loughlin said: “I have just been informed by my colleague, the minister for education Norma Foley, that a refurbishment has been approved for Suncroft NS (SN Bride).

“I have always been a strong advocate for inclusive education and believe that children with additional needs should be educated within their school community, surrounded by their peers. I believe the delivery if SEN classes such as these supports that.”
