Kilcullen book sale for animal charity this weekend
The fundraiser takes place on Friday and Saturday in Kilcullen
THIS weekend we invite you to Kilcullen Town Hall/Heritage Centre on the Main Street for another of our regular, and very popular, book sales.
We are there from 11am-5pm, Friday 28 February and 11am to 4pm, Saturday 29 February.
We remind you that most books sell for as little as €1 each and although they are mainly pre-owned, many of them are brand new. This is a great opportunity to stock up on your spring/summer reading stock while supporting the animals in the care of KWWSPCA.
We have lots of cats in need of homes so our “Kitty Cottage” at the animal shelter is open to the public from 1.30pm to 3.30pm every Saturday, Eircode W12 EV60.
No appointment is needed on that day. Just bring a suitable cat carrier, photo ID and a fee of €100 which is needed to help offset the veterinary fees for every cat that comes into our care.
Your new pet will already be microchipped, neutered, vaccinated with flea/worming up to date. Our Cat Team managed to get 46 cats adopted to new homes last month but took 70 into its care the same month.
