Kildare animal charity to hold Mondello fundraiser this weekend

Why not spend the day enjoying the spectacle of vintage racing cars speeding around Mondello Racetrack and at the same time support the work of the KWWSPCA.
We will be in attendance at Mondello Park on both 10-11 August for the Vintage Car Racing Festival. There will be lots going on with racing, vintage cars on display, trade stands, food & drink outlets.
Our volunteers will be shaking their buckets and we will hold a raffle in conjunction with this event. We hope the event will be well-supported and are very grateful to the organisers for the invitation to attend as the designated charity of choice.
Our Cat Section Volunteers continue to do trojan work in the rehoming of cats and kittens. 136 cats were rehomed by June this year. We remind you that presently every Saturday from 1.30-3.30pm the shelter is open to anyone wishing to adopt a kitten.
The animals will have all received their worm/flea doses and their first vaccinations and will be neutered/spayed and microchipped. Each cat’s adoption fee is €100 to help offset their medical fees and the cat can then be brought home on the day once ID is checked and a cat carrier is brought.
Piper is a two-year-old male Lurcher who is still waiting for an offer of a home. He is a friendly and happy dog, always waiting and ready for his walks or even just to be petted.
