Kildare Rescue Tails: Chico would love a home before Christmas

Chico
AS we approach Christmas we are putting in extra special efforts to find permanent homes for our shelter residents.
Chico is one of the longest with us and is a wonderful dog. We tried out a couple of homes but it didn’t work out due to his dislike of cats or incompatibility with the resident dog so we are looking for a home where he will be the only pet.
He is a great favourite with the shelter volunteers and knows us all very well at this stage.
Chico loves his walks but prefers lounging so a family willing to share its couch would be just perfect. His needs are few, just a few cuddles, one walk a day and of course that couch will be ideal.
His full details can be read on our website kwwspca.ie in the ‘Adopt a Dog’ Section.
The KWWSPCA has released a Christmas Charity Single called Help Save a Life to help raise much-needed funds.
The song was penned by Volunteer Deirdre Tracey and is arranged and performed by volunteer Pam Kavanagh with her husband Pete.
Paul (Rubber) Keogh generously donated his time and costs to do the sound engineering and the cover artwork was done by volunteer Lisa Botes of “Art Defrosted”.
A specially established choir called Choir for Paws and Claws was established by the KWWSPCA Volunteers to perform both it and other festive numbers. The song is available to download on the homepage of our website kwwspca.ie.
Please donate to help save a little animal life this Christmas. KWWSPCA is a registered charity no. CHY 6280 and can be contacted at kwwspca@gmail.com All our details can be found at www.kwwspca.ie.
