Kildare Rescue Tails: Minne & Lottie don't need much but love

Minnie and Lottie need a home
We consider every animal adopted from KWWSPCA a small triumph but are particularly happy when the animal in question has been overlooked for a considerable amount of time.
This invariably happens to the older dogs and cats who come into our care, and indeed it is quite understandable if the pet is to live with a young, growing family.
However, our older residents are usually the easier to care for.
Their activity is reduced and their training complete so a comfortable home with regular feeding, a garden to potter around and plenty of love is usually all that is required.
Two such current canine residents at our shelter are Minnie and Lottie.
Both are heading into their senior years now and are more content to laze around rather than head off for long walks.
These girls will make ideal companion pets for those in need of a little company around their house but with light exercise in mind.
Please consider older pets who have usually lost their original home owing to sad circumstances and need a new safe, happy place.
The KWWSPCA would like to publicly thank all those who have recently sent or delivered contributions to it - these donations do not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
One of our regular online fundraising auctions is currently taking place on our shop’s Facebook page – please check out the ‘Kwwspca Shop - Noah’s Ark’ Facebook Page to grab a bargain.
We are also currently planning several spring and summer fundraisers to sustain us for another year.
The recent Newbridge St Patrick’s Day Parade was a great way to show our involvement in the local community while increasing awareness of our work and we are very grateful to our volunteers who took part. We hope to increase our profile in other parts of the county in the coming months.
