Kildare Rescue Tails: Sonny ready for a home after recovering from injuries

Sonny

OUR featured dog this week is Sonny, a wire-haired, male lurcher who’s about five years of age.

He is a tall, leggy boy who arrived with some injuries. He is now fully recovered, but unfortunately had to have a tail amputation.

Sonny has spent some time in one of our foster homes, and we think it best if he were to be the only dog in his new home.

He walks well on his lead, enjoys human company and is quite happy to lounge on a couch for a good part of the day.

He is not suited to a home with cats. Sonny is microchipped 966001000902096, neutered and vaccinated. Please see more photos and information on our website www.kwwspca.ie.

Our ongoing fundraising continues this coming weekend — you’ll find us in the Whitewater Shopping Centre, Newbridge shaking our buckets all weekend. We’ll also be in the Linear Park, Newbridge from Noon until 4pm on Sunday 1 June, for the Newbridge Junefest Celebrations, where we’ll have several stalls and will run a fun dog agility course.

So, bring along your pet dog and see if he or she is anywhere near ready for Crufts!

We will also have a presence on the Main Street on Bank Holiday Monday 2 June, where we will be happy to talk to members of the public about our charity and how you can get involved.

The KWWSPCA is a registered charity no. CHY 6280 and can be contacted at kwwspca@gmail.com. All our details can be found at www.kwwspca.ie.
