Kildare Rescue Tails: Tabby brothers would love a home together

Andy and Mica
We haven’t heard from rescue-pup Gracie for some time but here she describes a little trip to the Vet.
‘Mum brought me to the Vet because I had a runny eye and I couldn’t believe the nonsense that came out of her mouth.
She suggested the eye problem might be as a result of play-fighting with my sister dog, Honey or perhaps I had got it caught by a branch while I was running in the woods. But nothing at all about me possibly being a bit rundown after all the recent fundraising I did for KWWSPCA! I was out in the cold, walking up and down while Mum was shaking a bucket over my head trying to get money for the Shelter. My ears are still ringing.
To tell you the truth, the vet makes me a bit nervous. You just never know where he’s going to put his hand next.
When he was checking me over, my tail stopped wagging and that wiggly-bum problem that I have just went away completely. My tail actually tucked right in between my legs (how embarrassing) and just wouldn’t move at all.
It’s okay now though, it started working again as soon as we got home. My eye is also working properly again too, in case you were wondering. I suppose I shouldn’t be complaining. The money is needed for a new shelter for the dogs that have no nice homes like me.
The current shelter is okay but I wouldn’t call it five-star. The dogs don’t mind too much though because most of them wouldn’t be used to five-star anyway. Mum says that I’m getting 10-star treatment here and to stop moaning or she’ll send me back to the shelter.
I know she won’t though because Dad wouldn’t let her and Honey would be crying. I have them all wrapped around my little paw! Love Gracie”
There are currently many cats at the Shelter in need of homes. For example, Andy and Mica, a pair of tabby brothers who ideally would love a home together.
Their adoption fee is €100 each. but their veterinary work is up to date as both are microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and neutered. All our details can be found at www.kwwspca.ie.
