KWWSPCA rehomes hundreds of dogs in '24

Tara & Sonas
AS 2024 comes to an end, the KWWSPCA wishes to thank all who supported it throughout the year.
Whether it was attendance at one of our fundraisers or a donation of goods or money to us, it has all been very much appreciated. Thanks to those who helped us out with their service when repairs or maintenance was needed, transport was required or advice or information was sought.
We wish to thank all those who fostered animals for us, those who adopted from us or even just applied to adopt but weren't successful. We are grateful for the good service given by the Vets in the area, the kind consideration of the landlords of both our shop and our shelter and the hard work of all our very dedicated volunteers and management.

As the KWWSPCA Charity is run entirely by volunteers, with no paid employees whatsoever, the support received from the community is not taken for granted and is very much welcomed by all involved. 2024 was busy with more than 300 dogs or puppies coming into our care and almost all now either adopted or in long-term foster care in private homes.
Meanwhile, our very busy Cat Section successfully homed 366 cats or kittens and the Cat ‘Trap, Neuter & Return’ group has dealt with 440 cats to date. 2025 will arrive with new challenges, the need for animal rescue will be just as great and we will meet this challenge with the same enthusiasm and dedication as before. Happy Christmas to all our supporters and best wishes for 2025. KWWSPCA is a registered charity no. CHY 6280 and can be contacted at kwwspca@gmail.com All our details can be found at www.kwwspca.ie.
