Extra paperwork required for Kildare's council housing list
Letters will be posted out to the relevant applicants
IF you are on the Kildare County Council’s Housing List it looks like you will be required to fill out one more form, and failure to do so will have you removed from the list.
Kildare County Council is required by law to conduct a Social Housing Assessment (SSHA 2025), which is a summary of social housing needs in Kildare.
Only applicants approved with Kildare County Council as in need of social housing, that have been previously requested to update their housing file prior to 27 June 2024, will be required to complete this form.
The Summary of Social Housing Assessment 2025 forms and an introductory letter will be posted to relevant housing applicants.
If you are a Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) tenant, Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS) tenant or Transfer tenant you do not need to complete this form.
The closing date for receipt of the Summary of Social Housing assessment forms is 12 September.
Under the departmental directive, failure to submit fully completed SSHA 2025 form, along with relevant documentation, will result in the file being closed and the applicant being removed from the housing list.
