Christmas Fair taking place on Sunday

The KWWSPCA will hold a Christmas Craft Fair this coming Sunday 30 November at Newbridge Townhall, Main Street, Newbridge.
It runs from noon until 5pm with free admission and is a very popular annual event which is eagerly anticipated by savvy shoppers or those searching for unique gifts.
There will be plenty to choose from while you enjoy some seasonal music and light refreshments and hopefully find that special gift, while all the time helping to support the animals in our care.
Along with local businesses, the KWWSPCA will have various stalls on the day including a raffle, pet portraits, tea coffee and cake stall, Christmas present stall, jewellery, winter coats and jackets and much more.

This week we feature Sláinte who is a gorgeous, two-year-old border collie. He is a wonderful, friendly dog who thrives on attention and is such an affectionate boy.
He loves being close to you, wants to be your best friend and lays down for belly rubs at any given opportunity.
He is energetic but walks well on the lead and enjoys his long walks. In his previous home, he loved trips to the beach and playing frisbee.
Fetch is his favourite game and he can play for hours! Sláinte travels well in the car, however passing cars when out walking can sometimes startle him, therefore we feel a quiet, rural home would suit him best, where he will get plenty of stimulation and exercise.
Sláinte is house-trained and also crate-trained. He has lived with a cat and he has had no issues meeting dogs when out and about.
Sláinte is a sensitive soul and can be spooked by loud noises, therefore we will only consider a home where all members of the household are over 16 years of age.
