Empowering art exhibition running in Naas during April

NAAS is set to invite award-winning American artist Charlene Potts to McAuley Place for her first exhibition in the area called “The Beauty Within.” Running from the 2 April to the 22 April, this showcase offers a refreshing celebration of spring renewal and empowerment.

This new collection of canvas prints, poster prints and original art offers works that are accessible to all.

For show attendees, there will be a free art print prize draw open during the exhibition, taking place at the end.

Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the artist and gain insights into her collection on Saturday, 5 April, 1-3 pm, when the adjacent tea rooms will also be open for lunch and refreshments.

A resident of Naas for over seven years, Charlene Potts is an award-winning American artist who has also exhibited in Dublin, New York City, Kansas City, and Austin, Texas.

“The Beauty Within” is inspired by the potential of personal enlightenment and the ability we each have to transcend our current condition, awaken to truth and growth, from bud to blossom. It’s also inspired by the beauty outside - nature, botanicals, and warm, earthy colours.

Charlene Potts shared her excitement about the exhibition: “This is my first exhibition in the Naas area, and I’m very excited to share it with this lovely community! I hope that guests will enjoy the art and take in the experience along with the gorgeous surrounding gardens.”
