Kildare Reads Podcast returns for a second year.
KILDARE County Council’s Library Service has launched the second series of ‘Kildare Reads’ - the podcast “where books spark ideas, ideas spark conversation, and stories bring us together”.
The podcast invites listeners to sit back and enjoy lively conversations with authors as they share insights into their work, their inspirations, and the stories behind their books.
Series Two of the podcast launched on 28 February with Tanya Sweeney in conversation with Emer McLysaght about her debut novel, .
‘Kildare Reads’ is the perfect place to discover highly recommended, maybe unfamiliar, authors and explore a wide range of genres.
Every book featured in the podcast is available to borrow from Kildare Libraries, so you can easily dive into the stories that pique your curiosity.

"We hope this podcast sparks conversations, inspires new reading choices, and brings the joy of reading to a wider audience.
"It's a wonderful way to connect with the literary community and discover fantastic books, all while supporting your local library."
Kildare Readsâ¯is available now on Spotify, and is supported by Kildare County Council, Creative Ireland, and the Kildare Readers Festival.
