NAAS Musical Society are in full swing with rehearsals for their upcoming production of Young Frankenstein, running in the Moat Theatre from the 15-21 of March.
Adapted from the legendary Mel Brooks film starring Gene Wilder, Young Frankenstein tells the story of the grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick, who inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania. Having tried to deny his family heritage for years, Frederick finds himself caught up in an experiment to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and build a monster.
Helped along the way by his hunchbacked assistant Igor, his leggy blonde lab assistant Inga and the mysterious housekeeper, Victor finds that joining the family business could turn out to be a BIG problem.
