NAAS Musical Society will present We Will Rock You, the smash-hit musical by Queen and Ben Elton, at The Moat Theatre, Naas in March.

Packed with more than 24 of Queen’s greatest hits, including Somebody to Love, Under Pressure, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Are the Champions and many more. We Will Rock You is a celebration of rock music, individuality and rebellion.

Set in a globalised future where live music and musical instruments are banned, the story follows a small group of rock rebels known as the Bohemians, who dare to challenge the all-powerful Globalsoft Corporation and its ruthless leader, the Killer Queen.

As society becomes increasingly conformist, two young outsiders, Galileo and Scaramouche, refuse to accept the bleak reality around them. Together with the Bohemians, they embark on a thrilling quest in search of freedom, love and the rebirth of rock and roll.

Directed by Sharon McNamara, with Mairead McKenna as Musical Director and choreography by Áine Foley, this production features a talented cast of well-known local Naas performers. With high-energy choreography, iconic music and a powerful message, this promises to be one of the most spectacular and memorable shows to hit Naas in years. The show will run from Saturday 7th March to Friday 13th March 2026.

Evening performances begin at 8pm, with a special earlier performance on Sunday 8 March at 6.30pm. Tickets are €25 plus booking fee. For more information check out moat.ie.
