Strict travel arrangements in place for Irish Open

THE Amgen Irish Open takes place at The K Club from Wednesday 3 September to Sunday 7 September and organisers are urging all attendees to check transport options ahead of the event.

Two complimentary public car parks will be available for spectators travelling by car to the event, and these will be situated on the north and south sides of the venue.

From these locations, attendees will be able to access the event site on foot.

No shuttle bus service will be operating during this year’s event, and no public parking will be permitted onsite at the K Club.

Parking is free of charge and does not require prior booking.

Directional road signage will be in place to guide you to the appropriate car park based on your approach via the N7 or M4 motorways.

Spectators are advised to follow all Variable Message Sign (VMS) displays on the motorway, as well as AA event signage, to ensure smooth access to designated parking areas.

Expressway will be offering return bus services to the Amgen Irish Open Maynooth and Hazelhatch Train Stations.

To book your bus tickets and avail of an online discount please click at Irish Open 2025, where a return bus ticket from either of the above train stations to the K Club is €15.

Tickets for the Amgen Irish Open can be purchased at the ticket vans which will be at each rail station, though it is advisable to pre-book online.

If you are travelling via a private hired coach then you will need to send an email to eventinfo@etghq.com to confirm your arrival.

All coaches should follow signs for the designated coach drop off area which is located within Car Park 4 inside the K Club South.

Coaches can drop passengers at the dedicated drop area and then will need to leave the event site – there is no coach parking on site.

Taxi drop off will be directed to the north and south public car parks depending on the direction which you are travelling, either from N7 or M4, and from there it is a short walk into the venue.

Taxi collection will be from the same place within the respective car park that you were dropped off in.

There is a dedicated car park for Blue Badge holders which is located within The K Club. These spaces must be reserved in advance; please email ticketing@etghq.com as soon as you can with details of your visit with the date of ticket, car registration, make and model so that we can allocate a space to you.

Please ensure you display your blue badge car pass at all times when arriving into the venue.

We will also be offering a hire service for electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs, located next to the Blue Badge parking area and event entrance.

This service will be provided by Event Mobility, a charity which asks for a donation of £35 for using their electric scooters, and £15 for the manual wheelchairs.

To reserve an electric mobility scooter or manual wheelchair please book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk or by phone on 0044 1386 725391.

Online bookings must be made at least 2 days before the event. Bookings cannot be made during the event.

If there is spare equipment available at the event it is offered on a first come, first served basis only.

Accessible viewing platforms are located at the 1st and 18th holes.
